Privacy Policy
1. Introduction
Welcome to Abide Discipleship. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy explains our current data practices in plain language. Our goal is full transparency about what we collect — which, at this stage, is nothing.
2. No Data Collection
This website is an informational web application hosted on Vercel. We do not collect, store, or process any personal information from visitors. There are no user accounts, contact forms, newsletter sign-ups, or submission fields of any kind on this site.
3. No Cookies or Tracking
We do not use cookies, tracking pixels, session identifiers, or third-party analytics tools such as Google Analytics. We do not collect or store your IP address, browser type, device information, or browsing behavior. As with any web hosting platform, Vercel may retain standard server logs at the infrastructure level; these are not accessed or used by us for any purpose. The audio player remembers the playback speed you choose in your browser's local storage, on your device only; it is never sent to us.
4. YouTube Videos and YouTube API Services
Lesson pages embed videos from our YouTube channel in YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). When you play an embedded video, YouTube, a Google service, may collect information under the Google Privacy Policy and the YouTube Terms of Service. We do not receive or store that information.
We publish the course videos with a private tool that uses YouTube API Services. It acts only on our own YouTube channel, through the channel owner's Google sign-in, to set video details, captions, thumbnails, playlists and visibility. It does not access, collect, store or share any data about visitors to this site or about other YouTube users or channels. Access for the tool can be revoked at any time on the Google Account permissions page. Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy linked above.
5. External Links
Our site may contain links to external resources — including scripture tools, publishing partners, and reference materials — that are not operated by us. We have no control over the content or privacy practices of those sites and cannot accept responsibility for their policies. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any external site you visit.
6. Future Changes
As Abide Discipleship grows, we plan to introduce interactive features including community tools, progress tracking, and web applications. When we begin collecting data or using analytics, we will update this Privacy Policy to reflect those changes clearly and in advance. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision.
